Taking the plunge into entrepreneurship can feel like a thrilling ride, filled with both excitement and uncertainty. For 42 years, Mid-West Marketing has been a staple in the area, and Debbie is finally ready to enjoy retirement, quilting and grand babies. After 21 years myself, I made the bold choice to carve out my own path. In this post, I’ll share my journey, the strong connections I've made, and how my new business aims to support our community while helping brands flourish.
Cedar Ridge
My entire childhood, I watched my parents go through the struggles of life, and work/life balance. They both worked extremely hard to achieve their "wants", and you can clearly see that in the way that my siblings and I are to this day. Working hard and earning what we have. Cedar Ridge Lane is where my dreams began to come true. My husband, Luke, and I, built our lives on Cedar Ridge and continue to do so. Naming my business after my "Why", only seemed natural.

Starting my business gives me the chance to connect deeply with my community. I’m not just focused on sales; I’m dedicated to creating friendships.
Growing Your Brand
A central goal of my business is to help others expand theirs. Supporting talent in the community strengthens relationships and boosts the local economy. By creating tailored solutions that cater to specific brand needs, I ensure a personal touch that clients truly value.
Lessons Learned
As I navigate this journey, I’ve gained important insights. Trust is the foundation of any relationship, whether personal or professional. To create long-lasting connections, one must embody authenticity and reliability. When individuals feel recognized and valued, they are more inclined to engage and work together.
Being adaptable has also proven vital in entrepreneurship. The market constantly shifts, and staying receptive to feedback and innovative ideas keeps businesses relevant.
